Name the device...

...Please for the love of god, before I rip the ******* door off it's hinges and start jumping up and down on it.

My office door keeps blowing open in the wind, its done it about 10 times today already and I am fed up of having to get up and close it. :/ It's a regular thing on a windy day.

What's the device called that's secured at the top of the door frame, bends around and has normally a wheel on it that sits on the top of the door. Its made if bendy metal. These are quite an old device and sometimes have a bell on it.

Thanks guys, yeh I have seen the modern ones you have posted but they are quite large and ugly. I was looking for the old fashioned ones. Maybe they just don't make them anymore.

The devices don't close the doors but add a bit of pressure/resistance.

You can get self closing hinges. They work great and don't look any different to normal. Saves having a big ugly thing on top of your door.

Can't you just repair the issue with the door? I assume the latch isn't catching properly?

If it's a home office you can also get a concealed door closer that goes in the door jam.

but yeah, if it's blowing open in the wind, why not fix the latch...
