i do, and i have, and yes your premise that i've fooled the test is probably correct. it's just that learning to mask the symptoms (for the lack of a better term) is something that most folk on the lighter ends of the spectrum will do naturally. problem is that means this particular online test is misleading for folk who think they might have a mild form of autism but have learned around and therefore "pass" the test when a more thorough examination would yeild a different conclusion.

Yes I know mate, I’m one of them too. ;) Also, +1 to thinking this thread was about the only GD that matters... General Discussion. OP should have known better tbh.

23 - think that was driven up by my introvert nature.

I'm an accountant, of course I'm **** in social situations - it comes with the territory.

I got 7.

I think some of those questions are bs though. I'm a petrolhead, of course I'm going to notice license plates! I'm also a photographer, so small details stand out to me very easily. I also have very sensitive hearing, so often hear noises others do not.

Think about that though. The questions are 'bs', yet you only scored a 7 despite identifying with some of the descriptors. The point is that someone on the Spectrum will identify with most or all of them to some degree, and hence score a lot more than 7. Your post simply shows it working as intended, despite you showing 'some' positive responses due to non-Autistic reasons (as might anyone).

I got 22, I do like to make lists and be organised and I can get obsessed about games or certain topics, but I do enjoy socialising and I'm quite a social person, it's something I've worked on though and it hasn't always been the case.

I think you could classify someone who just hasn't been socialised properly and developed those skills as Autistic when actually they just need to go out and get a life
