It's so narrow that it looks like it protrudes into the road about as much as the car parked in front, so it doesn't affect other people any more. That's what's most important IMO - the effect on other people.

And hey, it was nice of the driver to create a sheltered space between their car and the pavement for someone to park a motorbike in :)

Not only too far from the Kerb, but parked wrong way round too. While not strictly illegal under these circumstances, it is still bad form IMO. :(

Parking against the flow of traffic is illegal in Australia. I saw it all the time in the UK, and it drove me mad.

Don't know if it still is, but I am sure it used to be illegal in the UK for unlit roads during the hours of darkness.

Nevertheless it is still a dumb-ass thing to do any time of day :mad:

It's always the smallest cars that take up the most space on the road.

Also, if we're doing a 'bad parking' thread, here's one I spotted a while back:

- No disabled badge
- Taking up TWO disabled spaces
- Blocking the pathway. They seem to have confused the bollard on the other side of the path as the end of the bay.
