One can argue good beef (or meat) don’t need any condiments whatsoever :p

I have stopped cooking lamb for my family. I delicately flavour it with rosemary and garlic in the cooking. The gravy likewise has the flavour of the trivet (herbs, onions, carrots, celery) through it. Then they paste mint sauce all over it. Not an inch isn't plastered with the stuff. Heathens.

Just leave the poor fella to his ruined roast as long as he leaves it off your dinner don’t worry.

My brother growing up had ketchup on everything even toast when my mums back was turned thankfully he has out grown such things.

For myself decent homemade gravy is all i need now but will often use mustard or apple sauce ect.. if make a sandwich out of left over meats.
