Went with Lloyds, looks like the backend system is the same as Halifax so happy days.
Lloyds online does that It lists your balance and also your available balanceBarclays without a doubt, lots of features, also it shows you your balance in real time, pending transactions etc, this is very handy, you don't suddenly have your balance going down a few days later without reason, I make a payment on my credit card or purchase somthing in a shop, I can login and my balance reflects that straight away, I see a lot of banks don't seem to operate that way, you have to wait a few days to see purchases come off your balance, this is very frustrating imo.
ThisNatwest has an amazing app!
Compared to my Barclays Business banking app and currently have a Halifax CC, the Natwest app is lightyears ahead of them, and anything else i've used (Apart from maybe MBNA, but only do CC I think).
Everything just works as it should and is fast, quick and easy.
Looking to set up a second bank but would like some recommendations on which has the best online banking portal.
Currently use Halifax and it works pretty well.
Family members are all on hsbc or santander and those online banking portals absolutely suck.
Suggestions please.
Define what sucks about the online portals of HSBC or Santandar (I use them both as well as Barclays, Tesco, TSB and Nationwide) and couldn't say the first two were any better or worse than the others.
They all allow me to check balanaces, make transfers and pay other people, what else do you want to be able to do?
