I was doing some electrical work in one of the IT offices of a place thats in the early stages of rolling out new software for their embedded PCs, and having the usual teething troubles. One of them said something to his supervisor along the lines of "I've had $location restart it, that seems to have cured it now that the solar flares have settled down (laughs)"

I ended up commenting "Solar flares! , ...now thats straight from the excuse calender!"
