Do you except the 1659 had the same or better price-performance as the 580, 590 and Vegs56?


Yes the performance per dollar isn't good for all those cards you mentioned, but look at the chart again. Notice the 570 sitting pretty, 27% ahead of this new 1650. With it's price and the performance it gives, it makes a mockery of this new 1650 and yes if just about everything else as well at this price point.

I also saw an RX580 8GB for £150 too in the UK from a larger retailer. That is only around £10 more than the cheaper GTX1650 4GB cards too.

Gibbo also mentioned deals too next week.

Yup the deals from AMD could be something special to see as a last hurrah for Polaris and Vega before Navi comes to completely reorder AMD'S lineup. Or a least we can hope so.;)

With current UK prices, there's no reason to buy a GTX 1650 or 1660 Ti since they are beaten on performance/price by the RX 570 and Vega 56, respectfully. The GTX 1660 sits nicely between those two price points though.
