I've had a pair of MPow Cheetahs for 4 years now and love them - I own PowerBeats 2 too and the MPows are superior in every way in my opinion.

I'd worn them so much that the metal springed rod that runs through the neckband had actually corroded and snapped (due to sweat) and I managed to take them apart, re bend a hook in to the wire and put them back together again. Best £20 I've spent.

Those look similar build to my PowerBeat 2's, and it's the build that I don't like personally. Being specific, it's the loose / normal cable linking the two, because it's loose it sits on your neck weirldy and flaps around like I'd imagine a cold wet pony tail feels like!

oh i see, so the ones i linked to could be worse on that front, but i think being memory foam pads they should be a better fit, which brings me to.. possible to change my current pads to foam ones? (so they expand when you push them in your ear to get a better fit)

Haha just done.

No idea what’s best or what it means but I wear them around the house too and can leave my phone in the house and wander around the garden and not lose connection.

Looks like they’re more expensive than I paid as I must’ve got them in a Lightning deal but I wouldn’t hesistate to pay £30 for them.
