World's population watched a single video

Well, not quite but almost. I wanted to know which is the most viewed YouTube video of all time. I was expecting something which will have millions of views, up to 9 digits worth.

But this one came up with 10 digits and 6 billion views An extremely average, though admittedly catchy, song.

Insane. I don't see how it's so special. Gangnam style for instance was imo more of a phenomenon and has half that amount of view. I don't get it.

I'd never heard it before (yeah, rocks, living arrangements etc), and it really is quite catchy. There are some very pretty young ladies in there too! I'm married and only heard the music.

Incidentally I watched Basic Instinct the other day and on the credits one of the producers was called Louis D'Esposito.
