What about Nvidia's excuses for the 2080ti RMA issues? Nvidia's budget is HUGE as well. Why give AMD such a hard time?

The 3090XT makes it look like AMD has extracted some extra benefits from 7nm over the Radeon 7

It says 10% more performance than the Radeon and 25w less power draw.

It's something, but I can't help but feeling it would still get dominated by Turing on 7nm

Who said anything about charity? Who said anything about excuses? You're just deflecting with irrelevant ***********. Simple fact of the matter is AMD have had a rough time for a long time and still kept plugging away and for better or worse have just about stuck in there.

If in that quagmire of **** AMD can't pull out an Nvidia beater overnight and you consider that to be failure, then that's your prerogative and enjoy sucking down on that leather jacket like the good little cash cow you are. I personally would prefer to engage with somebody of a more measured disposition.

It's not feeling It's obvious NV is waiting for 7nm to get cheaoper and better yelds. So they are sticking to 12nm. If it takes 7nm 16gb hbm2 vega VII to just match 2080 on 12nm... While like half of its surface is RayTracing... Does not need rocket science to see that 7nm NV card will CRUSH competition like Raja said

• (Assuming talking about the top version) it is stronger than 2070

• In terms of hardware raytracing acceleration: maybe wait for AMD’s next GPU architecture, although the arch is not finalized yet.
• Navi will be presented at Computex on May 27th, and the launch date is July 7th.

Maeby 499/399 is the same card but more expensive is Toxic line and has watercooler. All information is trough Google Translate so take it with salt.

Ofcourse it will but that is 12-18 months off and by then not only will we have had 12-18 months of 7nm Navi but AMD will also be close to putting out the new archetecture, Arcturus. And as we all know when Nvidia is ahead they just bump up the prices.

It's a non-issue as far as he's concerned. He doesn't see or pretend not to see what got swept under the rug.

@$499 which will mean £499 it need to sit nearer the 2080 as 2070's are hitting towards the low 400's now

So all the hype that Navi would be under £300 was rubbish. So they are starting at well over £300,ie,RTX2060 pricing. So if Navi is under 10% faster than the equivalent Turing cards and has no raytracing as a marketing point its going to be a flop.

Also what is more worrying is what is AMD going to be selling under £300?? If its Polaris and Vega,they are not going to do well - Turing will have more features,and just look better for an average buyer.

We're starting off with the high end then, so AdoredTV's rumours were wrong or AMD were sandbagging? It will need to be very fast in rasterisation at $499 if AMD want to succeed, Nvidia can charge silly prices for midrange cards because of their utterly dominant market position and a lack of competition, AMD can't follow suit as they desperately need marketshare and are coming from such a weak position; one that is only getting weaker.
