Hmm, sorry folks. I didn't try claiming it as I had it already from the Humble giveaway. Steam must have fudged something up there.
One thing i did notice on it was you weren't eligible for cards with it as it was a free giveaway, that's the first time I've seen them do that.

Sims 4 is free on Origin.

Wow it been a long time since last time Origin stopped gave away a free game every month.

Fantastic to see Origin give away free game again. EA must be under lots of pressures with competition from Steam, Humble Bundle and EPIC Games.

Had the same problem, it gives you the option to add it to your wishlist and then from your wishlist it gives you the option to install or play or something like that.
Anyway after I did that it added it to my game library.
I know it's a bit vague but I hope this helps.

Played this before on console and it was good, not sure when ill install it for pc but its on the list

Sims 4 is free on Origin.

Not for me as it's only allowing me to gift a copy to someone else unless I join Origin access.

Edit: Appeared to be a bug in the Origin app as it worked properly going through the web store directly.
