Could not find a decent subforum so i gonna place it here :)
Been using Revoltec Cold Cathode UV 30cm for some time now and it seems like they don't last long. It took 3 kits in 1 year. First they start so fade, and finally they just glow slightly.

What else is there that make same bright UV light?

Yes maybe, but is it the same quality on the light?

Proper UV LED strip should be way better than ccfl in terms of lifespan. It gives off a blue/violet light but isn't as intense as lower wavelength LEDs, so suffers less of the point light source problem. You can get defusing channel for all the popular formats of tape to take care of that too.

I find that 12V LED tape is really good for DIY lighting mods as it's very easy to tap of a molex plug
