Prices are way too high. Refreshes offering a small % improvement is tiring. Bashing either camp is boring - its not gonna change the status quo.
People MOANED about prices are way too high. Bashing on high prices is so boring, I been there before. Not so surprised to see US and China customers MOANED about Trump's 25% tariffs. Just you wait and see Switch, Xbox and PlayStation owners will MOAN about Trump's 25% tariffs soon.
When GTX 980 Ti and Fury X was launched at £599-£649, the price was way too high in 2015 with no games bundle and GTX 980 Ti was surprised sold like hot cakes then when Pascal was launched in 2016 I wanted to get GTX 1080 with GDDR5X but I was shocked to see MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X card was cost £649 at launch with no games bundle, same thing with MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X card was £459 so I had no choice but went to bought MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X and was very pleased with performance then I sold my old MSI GTX 970 Gaming to recouped £180 which was not bad. When Turing was launched back in September, I was so shocked to see MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X price was £859.99 and decided not to buy and waited until RTX 2070 reviews out in October but I was not happy with RTX 2070 performance for £500-£600 then I waited until November for Black Friday and saw MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X cost came down to £739 bundled with MSI headset worth £99, free $30/£23 steam voucher, free Battlefield V game worth £54.95 and £10 cashback and then I bought it that was the best Black Friday bargain deal I ever had. Took all the bundles and cashback away, MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X card is worth £552 which is CHEAPER than MSI GTX 980Ti Gaming £599 with no game bundle 2 month after launch, MSI GTX 1080 Gaming £649 with no game bundle 2 month after launch and also MSI GTX 1080Ti Gaming £799 with no game bundle 2 month after launch. I felt now is good time for me to sell my old GTX 1070 to recouped £200 as my RTX 2080 still going strong 7 months on without failure.
