You can't play this game with randoms. Team work, communication and strategy all need to be nailed down. You have to play to each individuals strengths too.
For example I play with randoms. I might get 1 win in 10 if I'm lucky. I play with my normal team I win 5 games out of 8. I've tried playing with a few guys off ocuk but it's impossible to remember everyone's ability and play style. This game rewards being aggressive and finishing fights quickly. You can't have someone sitting back. You can't have someone taking on 3 people on his own. 3 People focusing fire on 1 target, then healing then focusing on the next then the next there will only ever be one winner.
One of the guys I play with is a beast but he's also always rushing in first to fights with me and the other backing up and hopefully getting to him in time before he's been downed. He plays pathfinder so his mobility is so much faster than any other character it's impossible to keep up but he can hold his own so it doesn't matter unless he gets into trouble.
They have nerfed the drop rate of better shields in the game. So now you have to fight for purples and loot longer for blues. With them nerfing loot it makes team work so much more important. I need a select fire receiver and/or turbocharger. I can ask my teammates to look out and ping one. Play with randoms and they will just run past them and not ping them leaving me at a disadvantage.
If you are playing this game with randoms - stop.
If you believe this game will work better solo you are dead wrong. Also wraith isn't nowhere near the best character. Lifeline is for healing / drops. Pathfinder for mobility. Pathfinder can get to the high ground anywhere using his ultimate and then reign supreme. Wraiths ability (portal) is pretty much useless playing solo. All you would be doing is making a tunnel for the enemy to find you quicker. It's literally one of the worst characters for playing solo.

why? it's a garbage dead game
i tried it and i hated it. the only good part was custom game modes but then you had to rely on having a regular group who also liked them.

it is. look at any team game and they will say stop playing with randoms if you want to get better or win. try and queue with people even if they are randoms off discord as they will be more likely to be like minded in wanting to win. which is why ocuk is my backup to my normal discord with my mates.
i played a game of csgo on faceit a few weeks back where we got matched with 2 random swedish kids. we were a group of 3. all they did was troll the whole match and bait one of the guys in our team of 3. i knew we were going to lose so rather than get angry i stopped playing seriously and just messed around. there is nothing you can do to win when you have 2 people on your team baiting you and trolling.
if you want to have decent games you cannot play with randoms in any team game. it's as simple as that. that is pro advice only a low skiller would argue otherwise.

Hmm no, I hold my own just fine, some games can just be funny, you can win without barly doing any damage etc, its the nature of BR games.
You dont need near as much communication etc, all you need is willing to play VERY aggressive and finish out a team when you come under fire in under a min before getting pinched.

How do you expect to do that without any communication.
Like I said when I play with my normal team I win roughly 5 in 8.
Communication and knowing how each other approach encounters is vital info which helps if shared.
Also we average 10-20 kills per game. One of the guys I play with regularly does 1k-2k damage.
If you aren't doing much damage then it's a passive play style. Skirting around the edges avoiding engagements. We actively look for engagements.
Its ridiculous to suggest a team game is better off played with randoms. Especially if playing competitively. The games you are winning with little damage suggest you are only looking to fight the last team and nobody else.
We drop hot most games. If i'm playing with randoms then I play much more passively as I know we aren't going to work as a team anywhere near as well.
I didn't say that, I just happen to say I reckon I have had more wins this way.
Im not sure why your re so aggressive towards me about this.

That is simply not true. First you need to be able to play with randoms before you can actually befriend them to play with them often. It is possible in this game with the ping system to get decent games.
Or it suggets that your teammates are great aggresive players, are playing as Pathfinder and simply getting in before you do. Or because you have a weak team, or you are left on your own mean that you have no choice but to shy away from encounters with stronger full teams of three.
Maybe because you play more passively they do the same, then you're all playing passive because you're all playing passive...
I had loads of poor games the other day, both teammates were poor every time, then got in with someone playing Pathfinder and he used it properly, getting in fast, being aggressive, so I followed/backed him up and used his lines right behind him and we both went in fast and aggressive as you should. The other guy showed up after the fight, but we still won the round. It only takes one random to change the pace of your team, it's finding him is the problem.

As for befriending them you should already have like minded friends or a clan, etc from playing other fps games.
Or yes find randoms but not from the game itself find them on reddit, specialist forums where better players tend to be. Yes reddit has a lot of noobs on it too but much easier to weed out.

Because a lot of people just play for kills...quickest way to rack up kills is to hot drop busy areas, snatch a few kills, die, repeat.

No that proves nothing it was ONE example.
This pro attitude of yours is wasted on me pal, I played Unreal Tournament on PC for over a decade competitively inc for the UK, I've played thousands of randoms on FFA servers and it's a great way to weedle out decent players and you CAN have plenty of good matches.

I've had good matches with randoms too on apex, csgo, etc.
However if you are looking to improve your game and play competitively in a team based game you cant rely on randoms and based on percentages are far better playing with regulars.
That is a fact.
