Recommended photo album for Android?

What photo album/organiser do you use?

I've always made do with the default one, but it's getting a bit limiting. Are there decent alternatives?

Been using F-Stop for a while now and have been pleased with it.

If you're not bothered about backing up to the cloud Simple Gallery Pro is pretty good

I moved from F-Stop that I used for years to QuickPic Gallery a few months ago and it has been superb speed/feature wise. It's minimal and quick for me.

Still doesn't properly support 18:9+ screens sadly. Yet still the best gallery app around.

I keep F-Stop installed on my backup Samsung Galaxy Tab S8.4 because it is the only gallery app on android that I've found, which can access photos off network shares and is has a slideshow feature too.

Solid Explorer can do this too but lacks slideshow and isn't a gallery at the end of the day.

On my S8+ I use the more simpler Gallery I linked above, and if I now need to access photos off an SMB network share then I've got my iPad Pro as my main device.

Yes that's why we're using the xda link which has the garbage stripped out.
