$499 is gonna be £450. So pretty much same same performance (perhaps 5-6% faster) for same price 9 months later without raytracing (not exactly brilliant itself but its a bonus) and worse (likely) cooler. Disappointment was expected and happened :(

Nvidia may drop price to and release that SUPER version to. Not good for AMD but suppose their giving an alternative. Keep it up guys x

This was always a sideshow to new Ryzen which looks great. The IPC improvement is nice but it doesn't excel against it's competition. It reminds me of Vega, just barely enough to keep them in the game. The pricing isn't unexpected but leaves AMD without a clear winner, especially with Nvidia set to announce something new soon.

no it's not $499 is £499 ;) cause shipping, VAT, more tax and other tax
