If they do, its not likely to be some monster 7nm part. They have quietly announced the 2200g and 2400g replacements along with the other 3000 series, and while they look fine, they are Zen+ 12nm versions of the same. So basically identical lay out just with slightly boosted clock speeds.

My guess is if we do see a new Athlon it will also just be Zen+ and only a slightly tweaked version. And maybe next year we'll see zen2 APUs

Cheers for the info , i did wonder if they would just refresh the older tech.

Shame you can't stick a Alpine Passive on a 3200g.

There is an Ryzen 7 3700E due later in the year (Q4), which compared with a the 2700E should be 35w, as the 2700E is/was 45w, and I know AMD are trying to offer a competitor to the 9900T. Unless you need an iGPU then you'll need to wait until 2020 for the 7nm lower power APU's

They're OEM only though, aren't they?

I was just wondering what AMD had to offer over Intel's 35W. :)
Not much, sadly. Remember though that the Intel -T models are basically just downclocked -S parts, so you could theoretically grab a 65 W Ryzen chip and lower the clock speeds or disable turbo boost or something. Not sure how possible that is on different boards, though.
