How does that work with Rebellion using different spec engines to the ones they qualified with? What’s to stop anyone turning up with quali-only spec engines that they know are going to blow up after 8-10 laps and then swapping in the race spec engine for the race?

GT race has been excellent so far. Cameras have hardly shown any P1 or P2 coverage!
I noticed that as well.

The we c app has quite a few onboard and show position as well. Very interesting to see the bunching of classes.

Typical now radio feed is being special. It's down for me

First hour was intense, slowly catching up, about 5 minutes behind and it's calmed down a bit! Conway was ridiculous for the first 30 minutes! The rebellions look awesome, and been great racing in GTE Pro.

Did think it was going to rain a bit, but looks absolutely beautiful now!

#1 Rebellion has been quite lucky.

#88 Dempsey Proton has been... well... everywhere...

#7 Toyota is just monstering it. New raceday lap record in the first hour too.

there is a part of me that is really hoping that something happens to spice things up (rain), mostly cuz I'm not there this year and find the 'settle down and grind away the hours' to be quite dull, oh for a slippery track

Wait till the evening / early hours of the morning, as that's normally when a lot of the action happens.
