Tesla aren't doing PCP due to VAT issues. The PCH quote though is pretty decent! Would save me around £500 over three years of ownership and saves me from any significant devaluation in the car. However, if I need to sell it after two years or want to keep it for longer, I'm screwed. Also can't add FSD to the car if I lease. Decisions decisions...

There is always the option to ask for an extension for another year in the PCH and possible option to buy end of final year depends on who the Funder is though

OctopusEV Performance Model 3

2 year Personal Contract Hire 8k miles

Initial payment: £3,140.04 including VAT

23 monthly payments: £523.34 including VAT

Total : £15,176.86

2 year Personal Contract Hire 10k miles

Initial payment: £3,317.82 including VAT

23 monthly payments: £552.97 including VAT

Total : £16,036.13‬

Difference over term 24 mths , 5k pa vs 10k pa : £2,298.13

The P111D value is £54,840.00

Cost: 12,718.31/54,840.00 = 23.19 %

edit ,,, excess mileage at 5k pa over 10k is 4.44 for the next 10k miles , so it actually cheaper to take a 5k pa initial and pay the extra !

Less than 25% is considered as beating depreciation , but who really know's what value Model 3 will actually be really be after 2 years.

Crikey that's tempting. I honestly don't see how the incumbent are going to survive this, why the hell would you even think twice about it when you're comparing the M3P vs M3 / C63 / QF etc. Not even close is it.

Anyone got a Model S p90d?

Rattling behind left side dash, sounds too loud to be drop links or suspension related as the sound deadening in these things is great.

What's behind the dash that can rattle in a metallic type fashion?

Tesla want crazy money to even look.

This is my issue. With a loan at similar payment monthlies and deposit, I would still have 51% loan to RRP left to pay after three years. I'm not sure the car will have only depreciated by 49% after three years. The flip side of using a lease is no flexibility and no possibility to upgrade to FSD after a year if I want as it would make it a lot more expensive.

first RHD have rolled out to public roads. Really like the Blue but not sure how it will look on the standard aero's on performance model

Agreed. I went for blue with aeros in the end. I saw a grey MS and thought it looked dull as, but all of the photos for the M3 in grey look amazing. Would have gone for red but it's too expensive and very difficult to paint match.

Just wanted to say thank you for posting this. I have been looking to buy for a few weeks now and just gone with OctopusEV based on this as it is the cheapest deal I can find, especially with the low excess mileage.
