Its not the temp that gets warmer, but the fan becomes less powerful.

When I turn on the engine, and the AC is coming out cold, on 2/4 it's really chilly. After about 15 minutes of driving, the power of the air drops to the point where I can barely feel it, and even on max power, it's like a light breeze.

It'll go back to normal if I turn off the car and leave it for a few minutes.

Seems to be unaffected by whether or not AC is on

Just had the AC re gassed.

Any ideas?

All I can think of is maybe some kind of problem with the resistor then. Does it do the same thing if you run the blower on max speed?

Essentially, over time, the blower power of any given setting reduces an estimated 70-90%

I.e. if at setting one it chucks out 50L of air pm on startup, after 15 minutes and no settings change, it feels like 10L

Same happens for every power setting.

You can hear the fan, but nothing really coming through the vents

interesting.

Does the fan reduce in volume?

Possible its pushing the air down towards feet instead of through main face facing vents?

Can you adjust which vents its using and see if any more air comes out?

Not noticeably so, but then since it's over a prolonged period, hard to deduce whether it's actually changing

I've tried altering vents, but doesn't seem to make any difference to power

Ice can block the AC evaporator if it's not working properly.

I'd expect the ice to take more than a few minutes to melt though.
