hi

i am seeking to replace my 32" acer 1440p with a new 4k monitor. i am not sure on optimum but i have £500-550 to spend.

my current system is:

core i5 9600k
32 gb of ram
palit RTX 2080 TI
1000 wt psu
z390 mobo

i see so many AMD freesyncs now but not many gsync, do they work on each others cards?

Freesync now (mostly) works with Nvidia cards - 1000 and 2000 series cards only though. You have a 2080ti so that's not an issue

It's just so frustrating there are no high refresh 4K screens at 32". It's a largely ignored size for some reason, despite being the sweetspot for 4K. 27" is just too small, especially when you've experienced 32".

There are a couple of 43" 144hz options coming soon though, but that may be too big.

yes, i think i will stick to 32" as the dual monitor option is not going to happen. 43" is way too big!
