Derailed every time we try to do a conversation about Navi writing something positive like "lets wait and see for reviews".
God forbid the moderators decide to start deleting posts of the Nvidia cashcows, since these are the culprits.

What the hell? Threads get sidetracked all the time. Have you seen the Nvidia thread, something super is coming, they are talking about Phones, Guitars and car companies.

God forbid the moderators start deleting the posts over on that thread of the AMD cashcows, since they are the culprits. /s

So the general consensus before was wait for Navi. See what that brings. Turns out not much. Vega56 non blowers bottomed out at £260-270. Pull the trigger or no for an EOL 56 or wait few more weeks?

Currently running 1050ti. Card first then 1440p 100hz monitor. Is nvidia going to work its way into the value conversation over the next few weeks on price performance ?

So 2% slower than 2070fe in a benchmark that favours Nvidia cards. That ain't to bad considering it's 17% faster than the Vega 64. If that translates to games then it should come out around where AMD said at 5% faster than a 2070 baring in mind the FE is an OC card as well.

most of us that needed that resolution and hz tried to make it work with a 1080 and ended up with 1080ti as it’s the only card that could cut it.

if it were me with that budget, i would wait until the end of July and then revisit new and used options. a used, custom 1080 is still a really nice piece of kit but it chugs at that res in some games.

Let’s see what the lower end AMD navi card can do.

I think people need to understand that raw performance to what card has a higher top fps may not what AMD needs right now, they need a better average which means bringing up the floor in games that favour Nvidia and theres more of those across the board then AMD.

WoW and Final fantasy 14 are still very big and they both favour Nvidia by quite a margin at the lows.
