Saved this little beauty (Rose Transplant)

When we moved two and a half years ago now, I wanted to take a rose from our old garden and wondered if it would survive the transit. It then lived in my garage (on a window sill) for a year during building work, in a plastic ziplock bag, with the root in some soil taken from around it in its original place. It was cut down to 6 inches tall and I'm really sad that I'd never taken photos of it in its "darkest" state because I'm amazed beyond words at just how well it's grown. This was transplanted into our finished garden in March!

Fortunately I'm a better gardener than a photographer, they don't really capture its colour quite as vibrantly as I think it looks in person:
