no, bit late to be jumping onto that band wagon

you'd be better off focusing on a hobby or interest and base your channel off of that

No. Knowing me, I would probably scrutinize my video over and over again and then delete it altogether. Also, I am camera shy.

And if not why?

a few other reasons to not 'vlog'..

vlogging is pretty much a daily thing telling people what you're upto that day, and so no one will watch a vlog that's old, ie: no one's going to want to know/watch what you did 3 weeks ago last tuesday..
so you're vids would have no longevity,

also if you want to make any money you need 1,000+ subscribers and 4,000+ hours of watch time within the last year to turn on monification, so you'd have to be in it for the long game

I think that going around talking to a camera about everything that I'm doing in great detail is more than a little crazy.

I think vlogging is very unhealthy personally

If you want to try it then why not? You have nothing to loose

true, but it depends what the OP is after.. does he want to form a small group of followers, or does he want 1 million subs and earn a wage?
he's given no hint as to any idea's he might have,

my advice is just to upload stuff you have an interest in or a hobby, i do it myself and have >1,300 subs,
random vlogs while you're shopping in Tesco aint gonna cut it :p
