Did you read what that link says about DECT phones? Apparently the pulsing on and off is thought to be dangerous. Safe distance 4.5m (that’s quite a long way).

I'm not disagreeing with what you've said. Just quoted you to link into my own thoughts.
I think it is a good idea to take reasonable precautions - there is a lot we do know and some we don't which gives a reasonable range of precautions - as is often the case I can't support either of the more extreme takes on it.
