I’m not sure how big the cooling areas of the Noctua is, but if it’s not great it will cause the Zen2 to throttle I suspect on full core loadings.

Fastest 8 core in Single Threaded currently yes, multicore no, it gets absolutely bent over and taken to brown town.

Depends on workload. The competitor to the 9900K is the 12 core anyway.
