Hello again,

Went to take off the rear wheels at the weekend to clean the drum breaks and couldn't find the alloy nut key, wasn't in the glove compartment or with the tire replacement kit, the colleague IO brought it off from does'mt know where it is as well.

Any idea where I can get a replacement and roughly now much they cost ?

You'll have a job trying to get a matching key from Ford without the code to tell them what kind of key you need. There's loads of different types and buying a few random keys probably won't help. I was in the same position with my wife's S-Max and I had to have the lock nuts drilled off and a replacement set put on.

Replacement set of Ford lock nuts with a new key is about £50 I think and you're probably looking at £40 or so to get them drilled off. It might still be worth going to a Ford dealer or specialist to ask, but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Unless you happen to have the key code card which is like so:

Bwaha locking wheelnuts… utterly disgusting lol

Has the same issue when I bought a Focus, called ford and they wanted a ridiculous amount to remove them.
Rocked up at the ford service place and had a quick chat with one of the mechanics, out he came with a tray full of keys and tried them until he found the right one.
Took all of 15mins, didn't cost me owt and ended up buying replacements nuts from ford there and then

Whichever way you get them removed, just replace them with normal ones

Depends on the style, presumably these ones?

Or about £40 from FORD I think. Pleanty on Ebay as they are usually left in the glovebox when the vehicle is scrapped.

Sure does look like the ones in the link but older, do you think I can get it off with the included nut with ether of links? (this is my wheel below)

I just had a problem with my Fiesta St as the idiot who fitted my tyres over tightened one of my locking wheel nuts. A mate bought a kit to remove said wheel nut and with a massive hammer and some face crunching from me he got it off. As good as they are they are also a pain in the ain when they are stuck. I bought another set and fitted them an all is good.

Cool, you'll be able to order a new one from Ford but I think they're £40 for just the key. Another option is to try McGard. I believe they're the OEM for Ford's lock nuts so you can try contacting them with your key code and they'd sell you a replacement for 18 euros. See here: https://www.mcgard.de/en/customer-services/replacement-key.html

One of Munchies links was for a mcgard set of locking bolts and nut with looks identical to mine
