Ugrading after 8 years - Ryzen 3600?

Hi.

I have got my PC for 8 years and only upgrades I made since then is replacing GPU with GTX 1060 6GB and adding SSD Samsung EVO 850.

PC Spec:
GTX 1060 GAMING X 6GB
Msi H61mu-e35 1155 Matx
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12
2x Kingston ValueRAM memory - 4 GB - DIMM 240-pin - 1333 Mhz DDR3
Xfx Pro 450w Power Supply Unit (core Edition)
Intel Core i5 2300 / 2.8 GHz processor
1 x Cooler Master Centurion 5 II - mid tower

Now i want to replace cpu with Ryzen 5 3600 and motherboard with B450 Tomahawk and add Samsung 970 evo plus.

Questions:
1. Does my choice of components make sense?
1. What DDR4 would suit it the best?
2. TDP of current cpu is higher than Ryzen 5 3600. Does it mean i will be ok with current power supply?
3. Is it worth to spend extra money to get Ryzen 5 3600x or my GPU will bottleneck it?

I use it mainly for gaming and sometimes video editing (Da Vinci Resolve).

Sounds like an interesting upgrade.
1. Certainly does
2. Something like https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...hannel-kit-black-cmk16gx4m2b32-my-456-cs.html.
Ryzen likes fast ram, so whatever you can get without breaking the budget.
3. TDP stands for thermal design power, or the amount of heat the processor produces. It doesn't really effect PSU choice.
This PSU calculator says you should have a PSU of 406w: https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator . I would be careful though as your PSU is quite old and may have degraded.
4. I'd stick with the 3600. Maybe use the extra money for an updated PSU
