3600 CL14-15-15-35 1.35v 8GBx2/8GBx4
3200 CL14-14-14-31 1.35v 16GBx2
3600 CL16-16-16-36 1.35v 16GBx2

I suspect we will see our first deliveries end of July and though our current 3200 and 3600 kits work fine these are a little better.

Now the bad news memory prices increased 5% today as did NAND and were hearing it’s just the start but we’re hoping it’s just a blip and things will settle again as we don’t want ram prices exploding again.

The CL14 kits look great! Especially at 32GB

There's been talk of the way the heat it output differently from the chiplet design. I doubt they are making one, but I thought it's worth a message before I order one.

I don't see this making much difference, the issue is getting the heat transferred out of the tiny 74mm² CCD itself, before you even consider trying to transfer heat from the IHS. Given that and the lack of return from higher voltage, there's very little to gain.

I’ve also being working with TeamGroup to get more 8 Pack memory options and this morning Team engineers finally finished their testing and will now start producing under our 8 Pack brand the following that are perfectly suited to Ryzen and also fine in Intel and again use screened Samsung B die and we shall be cheaper than G.Skill on equivalent kits:

3600 CL14-15-15-35 1.35v 8GBx2/8GBx4
3200 CL14-14-14-31 1.35v 16GBx2
3600 CL16-16-16-36 1.35v 16GBx2

Great news! Any idea on provisional costs? These could be some of the 'go-to' kits amongst enthusiasts on the AM4 platform with Ryzen 3.
I assume the 16GB sticks will be dual rank, and they haven't worked voodoo and got 16GB Single rank DIMMs :)

Not yet they can’t quote prices any more due to the issues with price increase they will give us pricing in a day or two or next week when a power outage happens on a memory or nand factory the memory manufacturers refuse to quote as they don’t want to lose money due to volatility of the product.

Completely understood, and figured it might be the case. Can't imagine these will be cheap, but if they're at least 'reasonable' they will no doubt do very well in the enthusiast community, guaranteed binned B-Die is exactly what the Ryzen Dr called for haha

Nope, sorry Ryzen 3000 isn't fussy at all. Been messing around this morning, and yet to find anything that will not run well, I've got a set of Micron E-die 32GB (16gb x2) sitting at 3600MHz C16, and it will do C15 easily with a slight voltage bump. The era of over priced RAM needed for Zen is over.

Has that had a noticeable impact on overall performance and benchmarks?

I'm on the cusp of cancelling my order. Not enough gain from a 2700x to a 3700x/3800x right?

There are two games where there is a decent gain, Tom Raider and Far Cry but generally not much of an improvement between the CPU's.

---

I cancelled.

I'll wait for next year and see whats what.

yeah I wouldnt upgrade a single gen, unless you also maybe going up to a higher tier cpu at same time. But you already at a high tier cpu so I would stay put.

I do my best it’s not easy when I’m not even in the UK but I said at the start of this launch OcUk would get the most and generally be first and we have delivered.

Eek, that's not good news (re memory prices). Did think we were probably near the bottom price wise but was expecting a few more months before things changed direction. Thx for the heads up.

Damn so looks like the 3800x did not come with the 3700x :/

Which AMD said they were going to be? should we be worried that they are not turning up today? Really poor information from AMD.

Looking less and less likely to get them by the weekend ;(

definatly back off the volts at 4.1ghz you should be closer to 1.3v or lower if you can, my 3900x was at 4099mhz at 1.42v and hitting over 90 i started overclocking and got 4.35gz at 1.2875v and temps have peaked at 75 degrees which is miles better, (i'm running custom 360mm rad aftermarket watercooling)

That seems like a lot of voltage for a 7nm part, it may be safe but I’d probably be wanting to stay under 1.40v and under 80c for longevity of the part and OC stability. But others can probably advice better!

The mobo is automatically running the CPU at 1.45v, what is stock voltage?
