Wow. The 8 Days Moon programme on BBC2 tonight. I sat through most of it gobsmacked. Quite possibly the best piece of TV, I've ever seen in my life.

SOme people slated the final season, but i enjoyed them all - amazing series.

Just started Mad Men and we're up to episode 4. It's a slow burn, much like all the cigarettes :eek:

but we're liking it.

I watched the whole 7 seasons over about 6 weeks in May/June. It's so good - one of the best series I've watched.

Not sure why we held off watching this for so long. I think we watched the 1st episode years ago and it didn't grab us, but we've watched almost every other critically acclaimed series so thought we'd give it another go. :cool:

Just finished watching The Virtues a 4 part mini series co-written by Shane Meadows. Stephen Graham gives a stellar performance as always. Has a really good supporting cast as well.

Perpetual Grace Ltd, the new show from writer and director, Stephen Conrad. Fans of Patriot will love it. Much of the cast is the same and the incredible writing is certainly on par. Ben Kingsly plays a large part and is fantastic.

Firefly again because its brilliant

Mad men because I had never been interested, now on episode 5 and really enjoying it..my golly they are portraying a sexist moment in time.

Stick with this. There are some weak episodes but overall its a great show. Also, they knew in advance it was ending so wrap it all up nicely with a great last few episodes.

Agatha Raisin series 2, watched four out of the six episodes and not sure if I'll bother watching the last two.

The first series was a bit fun, quirky and different, this series is just boring.

Just watched S1 of The Handmaid's Tale. It's quite good, but the story is a little... 'soft' I guess? Not huge amounts going on.
