Yea im now feeling they were never shipped in the first place, and possibly not even shipped yet. This would not effect every single company for the same 3800x when 3900x and 3700x etc have been received.

Does not make an sense

Edit -

Aslo, They are receiving just "90" 3800's when they have already had over 200 3900's, over 400 3700's with even more 3900 and 3700's coming. Whats so different on the 3800's that make them less available? it all smells very fishy!

IMO is quite simple: they don't know which chiplets to keep for the 3800X and which one to keep for the 3950X, since both need to be slightly better chips than what ends up on 3700X.

It's a bit late to be deciding that - the chiplets should already be on package!

More likely that there's some kind of last minute issue with 3800X and supply has been delayed to roll out a bios fix (or some similar issue)

yeap, intel burn test stable, docp with 3200c14 didn't wanna start, but as some1 here suggested in few steps (2666,3000,3200) done, all pbo, xfr,oc disabled, offset +0.25v 4.4 GHz atm , testing

p.s: either stock voltage or offset is different from 2600x, cause b4 offset of 0.2v would be over 1.4v , but it is 1.395v under cinebench run with +0.25v

Got my 3600 running at 4.2 with 65-70c. Not tried tightening memory timings yet as still getting used to my 8pack ram. Has anyone got any experience yet of what timings the higher binned kits can achieve.
