AMD cards do need a bit of tuning to get the best out of them, but there are a bazillion resources online to walk you through it. If you can wait for about a month, the custom cooler versions of the AMD 5700 and 5700 XT will be out, and also (hopefully) the drivers will be a bit more stable. Not tied into g sync. I haven’t ever tried an amd card only nvidia so you guys on here recommend amd cards?
The 5700XT partner cards will be a bit more expensive because of the custom coolers, but it probably won't push it too far up.Perfect then you think the 5700 xt partner cards will be cheaper than what we are seeing now
Partner cards will be plug and play for 5700xt, probably boost up to 2ghz range out of the box.Cool would you say If im after more of a plug and play card and not really into overclocking go nvidia over amd or just wait and pick up a 5700 xt when the partner cards come out
Navi turns into a beast when undervolted and tweaked.Partner cards will be plug and play for 5700xt, probably boost up to 2ghz range out of the box.
Tweaking only really applies to the AMD Vega cards since they could gain so much more performance after messing about with voltages and memory clock speeds.
