Personally, i think Lewis would have got Bottas at some point anyway. The Safety car just made the win easy/comfortable.

By giving Bottas the theoretically faster 2 stop strategy with the earlier stop at the optimum time?
By leaving him out longer and losing time to Bottas?
By getting Giovinazzi to lose it and cause the safety car?
Putting him onto the hard tyre at just the right time for a 1 stop to take place instead of screwing him over with a 2 stop strategy?

Yeah they pushed that Alfa off the track and caused the safety car.

They were all going for a two stop and the pressure Lewis was putting on, Bottas would never ask for a set of the hard tyres at that point.

Safety car killed his race as he was forced to pit again needing to use a second compound.

Simple really.
