He's just picked a list of his favourite coolers, no testing done so worthless IMHO. I would like to see some proper cooler testing done with Ryzen 3000 CPUs as now the main heat source is no longer in the centre of the chip this may affect cooler effectiveness i.e. some coolers like Thermalrights Macho range have convex base plates designed to take heat away from the centre of the CPU, so they may not be such a good purchase for the new Ryzens.

I disagree!

Did you even look to see if any reviews agreed with these findings or did you just object to the listing? Try looking first next time before replying to a post.

One can easily look here and enter the item in question (I chose the Ryzen 3600) and have listed a number of very good items to have with them: https://premiumbuilds.com/ , https://premiumbuilds.com/?s=ryzen+5+3600 .

What did I say that was incorrect? He picked a list of his favourite coolers and clearly stated that there are no tests for the 3000 series. Not one of the reviews you've posted were done on a 3000 series Ryzen, only one was on an AMD CPU.
NH-D15 - A review of the 3600, the NH-D15 is installed on his 8700K comparison rig he used the stock cooler for the 3600 and said not to bother replacing it.
Scythe Mugen - Tested on a 5930K
NH-L12S - Tested on a Ryzen 1700
EVGA CLC 280 - Tested on a 6700K

The point I was attempting to make was that because of the layout of the new Ryzen CPUs you can't just assume that coolers will be as effective as they are with previous chips, especially if they have been designed to remove heat from the centre of the IHS.

Maybe you're the one that needs to look a bit more closely before they post
