Interesting. Wasn't really released over here, but I suppose they've seen how big the retro market is becoming and how a cheap SOC board can run most things well enough, it's got to be worth a try.

Lets hope they do a Nintendo rather than a Sony/SNK

Ys Book I and II. Worth it just for that. I remember being awestruck when first hearing the sound on that game back in the olden days.

PC Engine had some great shooters. It never had a huge library so they could almost put all games on there.

I wonder how small it'll actually be.

hopefully we get a lot more games announced - it had a lot of really good arcade ports.
Sure i can emulate them all on my pi but there's something about having a mini reproduction that just makes things seem more real. I'll probably get the megadrive one as well if its good.
its a shame the neogeo one is crap - why they put it in that mini arcade machine format baffles me.

So yeah, it's the most expensive of the mini consoles. Doesn't really surprise me from Konami tbh. ;) 1 controller is definitely a bit stingy though. Ok the NES Classic only came with 1, but it was cheaper than this.
Closest in price is the NeoGeo Mini, but that came with a screen and no controllers (other than the built in one).
Still preordered one though. :D

Here's the link chaps and chapettes.
