I think I’ve finally settled on this board.

Would be good to be able to order the whole build in one delivery.

mine is arriving tomorrow but i had to get it from a competitor before they went out of stock too. seems to sell out superfast.

All this new technology, and people are jumping at it, to upgrade their computer...
I guess, a rush of people from Intel to AMD this time around.

X570 Elite seems the pick of the bunch of reasonably priced boards, especially if you get the £30 steam voucher.

It's got the same VRM as the Asrock Taichi which is £340.

7600k here. I cant watch youtube or netflix and play a game on the other monitor without spikes. even some games with just a game on my pc cant handle it, moved from team blue to team red (or should I say orange) because of this

Exactly the same for me.
Trudging along on some applications, and slower games, so time for an upgrade.

Got a 3700x sitting at home, as I've just returned a B450 board.
Tried the cheaper route, didn't work for me.
So, X570 needed.

Prefer this board, so keep my costs down.

Nice.
I'm holding off for now.
Deciding on purchasing the Ultra, as it has better components, to last along time.
Taking my time.
I know the feeling bud, spent days looking at reviews, watching youtube videos etc. maybe watching gamersnexus video about choosing motherboards might be your best start. my only concern is the chipset fan but im thinking about getting the corsair commander pro to put a temp probe by it, I seen a comment that you can set up alerts for when it gets to a certain temp, hopefully its easy to get a fan by then or someone comes along with a custom diy alternative by then.

So I’ve decided to go for the Pro as it has Boot/GPU/Ram/CPU led.
What, apart from that is the difference between the Pro and the Elite?.
This is all I can see
They both have the same VRM setup.
The Pro has an extra PCI-e slot.

Pro has rear USB Type C, more fan headers, fins array heatsink with direct touch heat pipe on the vrm & dual bios too.

Got mine and set it up yesterday. Seems a good solid board so far.

I had trouble with the bios initially and couldnt change anything but managed to flash the latest and all is fine now

Also had trouble with my Xonar AE sound card - intermittent audio in any pcie slot. Im now using the on-board audio (which is actually pretty good) while I figure it all out.
