I tried to beat it but came up short :o

Single Core @ 4.45GHz, 512
All Core @ [CCX1 4.275GHz] [CCX2 4.250GHz], 5097

Very nice Multi score there!

I was going to leave it but now I want 5100 for the MP. I'm gonna be up all night (think I may need a cooler other than the stock to be honest).

Stock cooler should get you through the test, I managed those scores @ 1.375V. Wasn't on the limit with a Noctua U12S.

I had to go with a per-CCX overclock using Ryzen Master to really push every bit out. I actually posted a 5100 on the dot but my PC crashed in a subsequent run so there's no evidence :D

My single core score isn't practical, I pushed in a lot of voltage and only OCed 1 core, but nice to see it going over the 4.4 barrier!

Wanting to avoid Manual All Core overclocking and trying to keep a balance of both SC/MC this is the best I have achieved so far without going deeper into memory Timings and Sub Timings. Despite feeding volts the current Ryzen RAM Calculators are not entirely appropriate for Zen 2 and x570 as far as I can see. I have some pretty loose timings and the HWInfo DRAM Voltage of 1.464 is actually ~1.42 on the multi-meter.

I've got 3600CL16 Samsung B-Dies but I cant run at anything 3600 or above as it totally destroys my Single Core boosts limiting them to 4125 or less. *shrug*

These settings see acceptable load CPU Voltages and the systems properly idles with the Ryzen Balanced power plan.

The CPU Vcore offset of -0.10v is the sweet spot for me. -0.50, -0.75, -1.25 and -1.50 all lose performance for me. Full score/monitoring tools in Spoiler tags.

CB R20
  • Multi CPU Score of 7416
    • All Core Freq. of 4125Mhz peak
    • 1.43v CPU Vcore in Ryzen Master
    • 1.34v CPU Vcore in CPU-Z
    • 1.35 CPU Vcore in HWINFO
  • Single CPU Score of 506
    • Single Core Freq. of 4353Mhz peak
    • 1.35v CPU Vcore in Ryzen Master
    • 1.33v CPU Vcore in CPU-Z
    • 1.33 CPU Vcore in HWINFO

3700x @ 4500GHz (4.8v)

Not sure I could get any higher without an electrical issue. Don't want to damage the chip!

Damn it, i'll add it now :p

Haha sorry. I'm in a bit of a OC mood. First time 4500 has stuck for a test and the little extra was all I needed :)

The bad news for you is I've ordered a noctua fan to replace my stock. I'll keep you busy this weekend :D

5345 4.45Ghz all core 1.4V
520 Single core

Going to try 4.5Ghz all core next.

Edit: it boots at 4.5Ghz all core, tried until 1.44V but was not fully stable. I didnt go on after that.

I'm totally thermally throttled with my current air cooler.

Edit updated when room isn't roasting. Little Noctua U14S air cooler doing it's best lol
