You actually have no clue what you are talking about do you, it's just text drivel.

Tell us oh all knowing one, what effect does a few B450 boards coming with a 256Mbit SPI flash have anything to do with fan speeds on an X570 board?

He just posted that it was 1000 headaches to flash a b450 with a new Bios...

Took me 30 seconds for my incoming 3700x

Cheers Ctf, my 3900X is in the post so I'll be able to see exactly how fast it is for my exact workflow. ;) Though these results are both for mass exports of multiple photos at the same time which will generally favour multi core CPU's. I rarely if ever do anything like that so I can not extrapolate those benchmarks to my usage.

But the previous results are not a fluke apparently, and AMD is significantly ahead core for core. The 8C/16T Ryzen 7 3700X is equal to the 10C and 12C Intel Skylake X CPUs in the benchmarks, and higher compared to a higher clockspeed Core i9 9900K. It might be the L3 cache at work IMHO.

Also,Pugetsystems ran their Photoshop benchmark on the Ryzen 5 3600:

So in-between the Core i5 9600K and Core i7 9700K.

Surely if we are enthusiast we don't mind (sometimes actual enjoy) things like flashing the BIOS.
If I want 100% hassle free gaming then I'll get a Nintendo Switch.

He is all for creating drama...when in fact there is none...:)

Didn't Z370 motherboard owners had to flash new BIOSes so they could run the Core i7 9700K and Core i9 9900K too??

Yes IIRC

I didn't remember as much drama about that and AMD even will provide a boot kit.

Nah, it was simpler than that, they just bought a Z390 board instead of re-soldering a new VRM/power delivery layout on to the boards :p

Z390 is worth it even if it cost more than the Z370 and barely added any more features. X570 adds PCI-E 4.0,and now its end of the world and none of the 300 or 400 series AMD motherboards exist.

If Intel allowed the Z170 and Z270 to run 6C and 8C CFL CPUs,it would be like the second coming!

intel has bambozzled us all :) we need a new motherboard with ever generation of cpu. i find it funny that z270 1151 wasnt enough they needed a v2 on the 370. and z390 exsits becouse they had to refresh the motherboards :) they also make it that security patches that nerf the cpu dont exsit and that gaming is the only benchmark for a good cpu:)

intel way of doing things since they become the only player in town for high end cpu's before ryzern was terrible and not many complain about it :(

It could well be the cache, I'll hopefully soon find out. My main thing will be the RAW export using Prime from DXO to Lightroom on a single image. As I've never seen a benchmark for this then I'll have to do it for myself.

lack of 3800x's reviews as the lapdogs (sorry umm influencers, sorry umm reviewers) were not given free samples and they wont buy it themselves.

Ive seen a few cores on my 3800X hit 4525Mhz, that is running everything Auto and PBO off. I am happy I got it over the 3700X, dont mind paying for a little extra performance. Once X570 matures the TDP will probably have a bigger impact
