From what I've heard, its a Candy Crush style spend all your real money fest, which is a real shame as I loved Dr mario on the Nes.

i am halfway through the first world, x40 levels per world. the first 20 are just learning the game and then it opens up with the micro transactions! buy these diamonds to buy a pack for a random character ect but the gameplay its self is quite fun. i dont see why you would have to spend real money unless you want certain characters (it dont seem like a pay to win game) but that may change as you progress.

Played it earlier, starts off fun then becomes a real grind, bleh.
