RIP. :( :( Brilliant actor. Loved him in The Hitcher ("I don't need gas..."). :)

As mentioned above, he was also great in the Guinness commercials. Love the surreal nature of those.

Strange. He was in my signature for over a year, and the hosting site for the image was blacklisted by some anti-malware tools - removed it on Friday and was just looking at re-uploading and putting it back.

Blade Runner is one of my favourite films, easily in my top 5. Having watched and read up on a lot of the history of the production of the movie I understand Rutger contributed heavily to his Roy Batty character and made him way better then originally written. His expiration speech knits the whole film together and still hits me with question of "what does it mean to be human?"

He was also great in the game The Observer.

RIP.
