New pc build after 9 years

hi i would need this built at overclockers as im very clumsy the most i'v ever done is replace a graphics card and install a ssd..

im after a cheap build for mediocore gaming rig, my current rig is a i5 2500k with a nvidia gtx 750ti with 16gb of ddr 3 ram in 4x4 gb sticks. with a small ssd, i'v been scouting the website but i dont fancy any specific ready made build's i like the idea of these but unknown if they all work together and if it's
a smart move, appreciate any info thanks!

total is around £746 with out build and delivery unsure what they cost if someone can let me know also be great! any info if my build is good ill welcome. thanks!

oki i'v never been into the bios before so unsure about that part haha and i did't add any fans or cooling for the cpu -,- haha

I'm still getting used to all the BIOS bits, I'm sure someone will be able to tell you how simple it is done...

As for the fans etc, the case comes with 4 fans installed and the CPU comes with the stock cooler which will be fine if your not overclocking the CPU

If you're scared of the idea of building a pc, don't be. Building a pc is much like lego, just follow the instructions of an hour long youtube video and watch step by step.

There's videos about the BIOS too. Although when I built my own pc I didn't have to go into the BIOS too much and it worked perfectly fine.

We need @Plec or @tamzzy to help here.

I believe you'd be better off with an MSI board as they allow BIOS flashback with a USB stick (you won't need an older gen CPU to update the BIOS to accept the newer gen Ryzen)

The rest looks ok to me but you would be better off if some others had a quick look over your choices.

Oh and yes, please build it yourself. You've got a board full of helpful people here who would be more than happy to assist :)

As @ExRayTed mentioned you would need that particular ASUS board pre-flashed to get it Zen 2 compatible (and it doesn't have the best VRM - unlike the E model) - and lots of members here would assist with build, if required.

The majority of MSI450 boards have flashback (you don't need a CPU installed to flash them to Zen 2 compatibility), however there are ongoing concerns/issues with the BIOS which is very hit and miss. If you can wait they have a new revision called the MAX which will be Zen 2 compatible out of the box late August/September - a guestimate from internet chatter - and approx ~£99.

So using the MSI 450 Tomahawk as a placeholder for price (or you could risk as many people have been successful) - and looking at you listed spec possible build below:

Subbed out Asus for better board suited fro Zen 2 (better VRM - even if you didn't wait for MAX), upped memory to 3200MHz, swapped 580 to cheaper version (no performance difference) to subsidise better PSU for now nad future upgrades (particularly GPU cards), and a cheaper case - price more in keeping with build (but your choice - just an example:

now you haven't specified a budget...so i've went up to £760.
but in exchange for the extra outlay is a vega56, which is over 50% more powerful than a rx580.
all in a nice compact matx build with a tempered glass side window case

Hehe - it was a tough one, he had most of the spec already, just a needed tweaking - and it came under his total.

Plus, was happy to help out @ExRayTed, as he's always quick to help out with my requests if i @ him and he's about (moving threads) - paying it forward etc...
