Ford Etis shows different reg number to current

Hi Guys, i just checked my vin on the Ford Etis website and it shows my cars reg as a CA59 when the actual reg on the car is KX11? has anyone had this before and should i be concerned about this?

Have been basing my servicing on it being an 11 year car so only did the cambelt etc this year

Look up the CA59 registration online, it's probably a private plate it had on it originally

Your V5 will have the registration date on it

ah ok, could be that i guess, will check the v5

The reg is CA59 HWD, dvla have no record, one site says it is a Ferrari F355, another says it is a 2013 Fiesta

Seems a bit odd but i guess private plate is possible

so the reg on your car is currently kx11, but your v5 says ca59?

Am pretty certain the v5 has the correct reg on it, will have to double check later, putting the vin number of the car in Ford Etis comes up with the CA59 HWD reg number, putting it on various reg checker sites either has no result or the Ferrari F355 or 2013 Ford Fiesta

It won't be on a Ferrari 355 if it's a 59 plate.

Etis used to have my old Mondeo's reg incorrect, v5 was right though.

Have checked Ford etis again and it comes up Build date of Jan 2011 and registered March 2011 so looks to have been a private/custom plate i guess
