Looking across the line up of ASUS x370 boards they do seem to be lagging with upgrading to he latest AGESA.

I did come across a post saying that it had been pulled due to some bugs. But not sure if that was getting their wires crossed as it was the last AGESA that was pulled not the latest one. But the post was only 2 days old.

The one that was pulled AFAIK is 1.0.0.3ABA, but now they are working on version ABB according to AMD.

And I'm back from Ban Holidays :D
So let me give You My daily setting's I'm running. Tested 20+hours Cpu+gpu Mining last weekend. I'w got my ass out of cave to get some Rave Footage for rendering so Rendered 2 projects 4 hours each WHILE Mining with gpu No problem. And since I can*t do much more with the bios We got for C7H played some World of Warcraft raids ect to get back in shape for Classic Grind :D
Best case scenario its pops out 62.5-62.7 depends on run not looking to LOWER it cause Infinity Fabric is on Edge of stability. To get this stabnle enough for passing Y-cruncher Pi I had to pp VPP volage to 1.005mv normaly always on zen1 and zen plus 900mv was enough for stable runs. I'm running Memory at 1.425 volts BUT for testing memory itself with HCI memtest Ramtest Testram 1.4 is enough to pass hours error free. I just like extra Juice on DDR as from my zen1 and Zen2 memory tunign experience Extra Volts help IMC to keep stability on long constant load use aka Mining :D.
Also Moved to the new Chipset drivers. I'n general to have my settings stable i had to ADD extra 1 tick voltage to CPU (running LLC 5 400khz) and SOC (running LLc4 500khz) DDR( 400khz)
Y-Cruncher peak power draw is 209w (still not close to my 2700x that was peaking 237w).

For running 3800/1900
1. If You cant Boot up. Change bclk to 101.8 and go with 3733/1866 setting that comes bit over 3800/1900 It's generally More stable if it goes for Booting up ect
2. I recommend SoC 1.112 AFTER vdrop anything lower can/will get You in Random Stutter Gpu blackouts/freezes and Random reboots
3. COLD_VDDP 900mv seems enough adding MORE in my case makes system unstable. For it to apply Need cold boot cycle.
4. COLD_VDDG 950mv does the trick but if having problems try 25mv steps Max I needed 1060mv thats on very hot day otherwise just adds heat with NO performance or stability gain.
5. VDDP ass mentioned when on edge of Infinity fabric try this. Maximum here is 1.025
6. On C7H (possibly V6H) there is bios bug You need to set VTTDDR to half of DDR voltage like 700mv for 1.4ddr

btw. If ya just playing with Memory double click on MEMORY name not start benchmark it runs just Memory benchmark skipping Cache saves time when doing 1 timing reboot rotation.

Timings ect
vFiub21.jpg
miningzzz as my pc does when im sleeping and at work. It's 475-488 from socket on power meter constant.

You will see here on page 34 AMD's own documentation for Ryzen Master recommend putting in your primary timings for ram putting SOC and VDDG to 1.1v and leaving everything else auto.

@Zeed

As above. You may have missed this.

---

In my case I think by default the mobo sets VDDG to 0.950mv. Since I put both SOC and VDDG to 1.1v I haven't had a single freeze.

@opethdisciple in general i dont give a **** what amd says i run tests and check if its stable. I got Stable system You got hiccups reboots ect. The Stilt reported Multiple problems with new design to AMD/ASUS so did 1Usmus and it all got ignored. Even Bugs they reported ware ignored...

If You want to stick to what AMD says. STOP OVERCLOCKING simple as that.

@Zeed

62.5ns nice! Thank you for sharing :cool:

So looking at your C16 timings is the 101.8 bclk helping with latency score? My tighter C15 timings typicaly score around 63.8ns, or does the 3900X score better than the 3700X due to cache differences?

Nope. Only cause my IF cant go higher than 1800MHz. The ram can go as high as 3800MHz, but the IF cant go above 1800MHz. No amount of volts changes that situation.
Have You tried 101.8 bclk ?? Cause You are running basically Stock settings now Where is fun in that??

@Illuminist have You gotten that x570 upgrade yet that VRM's wont fry when You start to have fun tweeking ??
