I have had a good search on here and google but not found much.

I have same road salt marks on my bike that i am struggling to shift, mostly to bolt heads and a few pieces of piping etc. Can these be removed or are they here to stay? Any pointers on how i can shift them? After the summer comes to an end i will apply some ACF50 to hopefully keep it clean.

Ummmm, on metal work (not chrome though) I would try autosol polish, and a scour pad.

If it's in paintwork there isn't much you can do.

Also as an alternative to acf 50 I'd recommend scottoiler FS 365 as an all year round, it's much lighter and can be easily washed off.
