Has anyone been using screenwash tablets that you dissolve in water before adding into your vehicle? Any recommendations of so?

Looking to make the change to cut down on use of the single use plastic bottles.

So it strips all the cars paint protection as it runs down it? sweet

Yeah, that's an ancient myth. Highly diluted dish soap will not significantly degrade any half-decent protection assuming it was applied properly. If it wasn't applied properly than a car soap will also readily degrade it.

... but screen wash does the same

Don't most folks just buy the same screen wash year round and make it more concentrated if it gets cold ?
although maybe the gycol is eating your wipers when you don't really need it.

Didn't know they used glycol in screen wash these days.

All the ones I buy are basically IPA, detergents, water and colours and fragrance.
The more IPA the colder it can go without freezing.

Never found those tablets to dissolve particularly well to be honest.
I just buy a 5 litre bottle of Autoglym screenwash concentrate once a year and dilute as required.
Works the best of the various ones I’ve found and tried.
Does still mean I have an empty container at the end, but not as bad as one each time you fill up with the single fill ones.

I just buy a cheap bottle from ASDA or LIDL or where ever I happen to be when I decide I need some. Last time I bought some must be over a year ago.
