WildLife Park/Zoo

Planning on taking my mother for a visit to a wildlife park/zoo in a couple of weeks. We have picked two that are in Kent (less travelling from Maidstone) and wondered if anyone had any experience of either.

100% wingham wildlife park. I have worked with the owners professionally and also get on with them really well personally too. They also run Sandwich park too down the road from wingham which is also worth a visit.

Edit: realised that my post sounded like I was promoting a friends business rather than a genuine recommendation. Wingham is a fantastic park and well worth the visit. The enclosures are massive, animals happy and very well looked after. Even if you don't go this time round, make a plan to go when you're able too.

Travel a bit and go to Knowsley, it's brilliant

Thanks Smeaney, think we will pick Wingham. mollymoo - not really a day trip thing from where we are considering it would be about a 6 hour drive on a good day.
