Brilliant. Just seen Van Persie telling his story in his exit. Surprised to hear they didn’t offer him another contract. Arsenal fans any more to this?

He was coming up to 30, and we have always given 30+ players very short contracts. We probably offered him something silly like a 1 year contract or something. Coming up to 30, he would have wanted at least a 3 year bumper one.

Who cares what he has to say?? I certainly don’t. He left of his own accord, won his PL title at Utd and fair dues to him.
If anything it was the stuff he said after he got his move. As Rob said, we don’t offer players over 30 long contracts which is fair enough.
I don’t understand why he’s bringing it all up again. Just STFU about it, it’s in the past and doesn’t need to be talked about.
Arsenal are over him, of course it hurt to see him leave but it is what it is.
