Looking to spend under £300 ideally closer to £250 on RAM. I'd like to have the option of sticking another 2 sticks in in future so I can expand to 64GB if necessary so 2x16GB sticks would be ideal.

I got two 2*8GB G.Skills 3600Mhz C17 kits for ~£245, the 2*16GB and 4*8GB kits cost £350. It's just cheaper to get two 2*8GB kits. Also the price has gone up a bit in the last month.

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT BLS2K16G4D32AESB
Can't seem to find this one on Overclockers. On Amazon its around £150 though. I'll keep it in mind :)
I did see a Corsair Vengeance RGB kit for £179 on OC, but apparently its for intel? Would it still work fine on Ryzen? There is a £229 version for AMD.

Its just the long term upgrade-ability for me. I may need 64GB at some point due to my work type.

ocuk don't stock crucial ram :)

I've got this (the 2*16gb kit i'm recommending) for my 3700x
Clocked at 3600c16 daily running no issues. Can hit 3733c16 with minimal effort too but I didn't like the extra voltage for minimal extra performance... (Of course YMMV)

as per fred flint's post, 2*16 gb sticks of 3600c17 b-die is £350. you can get the same performance for less than half the price. lol. #nobrainer

I suppose I could just get two sets of those for 64GB for the same price as 32GB pretty much. Seems almost too good to be true. Any particular reason OC don't stock Crucial?

What difference does it make?
Crucial have a lifetime warranty for their ballistix line of ram with a UK RMA base. Where you buy from makes not a jot. Just buy from the cheapest

Alright thanks that helped a lot. Now I just gotta decide whether to just get 64GB upfront or 32GB :D
