£10 to park at a pub that's nothing special? Ridiculous. I hadn't considered it's a weekend date. Honestly I would just go to a regular pub instead. C&M is all style and little substance really, you'll be lucky to get a table in their small dining room, and you'll wait ages for food and half the menu won't be available.

I like C&M but the parking charge really rubs me up the wrong way.

They had to do that cos otherwise the car Park overflows every day and they have to turn people away. It was a recent change. Last few months.

I don't mind the charge and I've already booked.

That said, they do ask when you're arriving. I've assumed I'll be freezing cold/hungry/bored around lunchtime and indicated I'd arrive around 1pm. I wonder how strictly enforced the arrival times are...

£5 that gets you a free drink. And prices for food extremely reasonable. I think that's a bargain for what it is. People sometimes pay over £30 to enter a car show that does not offer much more.
