Very early days, lots of good stuff to come. Once people have 60's funding alts the fun will start. There economy will be different this time too, larger server populations so I think we'll see a lot more AH activity. People also know how to play it better than back in Vanilla.

Fun DM run last night, need a bigger mana pool though!

I was there (the tank)! I've really missed running old style dungeons, so much better than face rolling through them.

Thought I'd try and log in from the Rig last night and it worked (internet offshore is terrible!).

Managed to get settings sorted and a few addons installed. Now all I have to do is select a server:confused:

Nogg? Fire? Flame? Seem to be the main culprits. Was Alliance back in the day so kinda thinking Horde should be the way forward, but then think I'll miss seeing so many familiar places

I'm on Mirage Raceway, little to no queues, on Alliance though, found a nice chilled out guild.

I'm also on Mirage Raceway as Alliance. Currently in STV pushing towards 33, so if you (or anyone else) is in the same range and questing drop a friend request to Jedit#1635. Not looking for a guild as I'm back playing with friends from my old raiding guild, which also means I'm not inviting people to apply - friends only just now, we might open it up later if we decide to raid.

Playing this for first time as missed it back in 2005.

Playing on skullflame with people I know from work, rolled alliance, rogue lvl 19, Druid lvl 12 and warlock lvl6.

Doing first dead mines run tonight, looking forward to it, hope I manage to get a rare blue drop.

No queues at all on skullflame when I log in.

Does anyone know if /1 spans all layers?

Causing quite the debate in guild chat right now.

Pretty certain it's all layers. If someone invites you from a different layer, you'll get phased in.

You can /join layer or just ask someone in your guild (might take a couple invites before you're ported to a new layer though).

I used it last night in Swamp of Sorrows waiting for an NPC respawn who offers an escort quest.

There's a post on r/classicwow at the moment where people are supposedly using layering to farm Mithril, Black Lotus and Devilsaurs etc.

You could realm hop in Legion and people used it to farm rares etc.

I haven’t used it myself but I don’t care if others do. Some of the areas are so rammed it’s difficult to complete quests, so I see why people do it. I don’t consider it cheating.

Quests arent the issue, they are abusing it to farm rare spawns, quickly gather mats etc. Will wreck the economies on the servers.

Gold spammers are back, this time they're inviting people into private chat channels to do business. I advise going into Interface Options and checking Block Channel Invites if you don't want to get several popups an hour.
